They appreciate the numerous opportunities to play sport and music and to join in the many activities which make up Rangitoto College life. Most Rangitoto students go on to university or other tertiary institutions.
Homestay families are chosen carefully and live close by in large comfortable homes usually within walking distance to a local beach. There are numerous classrooms, an auditorium with seating for over 1,500, a library with more than 20,000 titles, three gymnasiums and an olympic standard water based Hockey turf to list but a few of the school's facilities.
Our international students are proud of their school and benefit from their world class educational experience. The normal academic year runs from February to December in four 10 week terms. Intakes of International Students are taken in February, May, July and October.
