National Technology Institute
The National Technology Institute is a tertiary institute in Auckland New Zealand offering courses with a focus on preparing students for careers in hospitality and computing and information technology.
National Technology Institute works in partnership with Concordia Institute of Business, which offers courses in English, business and management. Both schools are under the umbrella organisation National Tertiary Education Consortium (Ntec).

Ntec’s main campus is in Auckland City, and there is a branch campus in Tauranga, which is 200 kilometres southeast of Auckland. Both campuses have easy access to public transport, libraries, shopping centres and food outlets.

Business
Diploma of Business Management levels 5, 6 and 7
The Diploma of Business Management provides competency-based training and personal development for the workplace. The programme equips students with the knowledge and skills to enable them to commence and progress through a management career. The programme focuses on the skills needed by managers. It gives students the ability to understand their organisation’s business needs and to develop strategies and action plans to meet those needs.
Level 7 has five specialisations:
1. Small to medium enterprises management
2. International business management
3. Information technology management
4. Tourism and hospitality management
5. Health services [this specialisation is pending accreditation by NZQA]
Computing and Information Technology
Diploma in Computing Level 5
The Diploma in Computing Level 5 is designed to give students the ability to launch a career in the global Information Technology and Computing industry. The qualification prepares students for the industry certification exams of leading software companies. It also serves as a foundation course for further studies at degree level in this area.
Diploma in Computing Level 6
The Diploma in Computing Level 6 prepares students to pursue a rewarding career in the global Information Technology and Computing industry. It also gives students advanced standing for further studies at degree level in this area.
Diploma in Computing Level 7
The in Computing Level 7 is recognised and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, giving students advanced standing into the global IT workforce or a degree level programme in New Zealand.
Hospitality
Diploma in Hospitality (Management) Level 5
This course prepares students for management positions in the hospitality industry. This qualification is intended for people with prior experience in hospitality and who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills to manage a business unit within a large hospitality enterprise.
