Surfing in Taranaki (New Zealand) with the New Plymouth Boys High School
The Taranaki region has a host of waves that fan around the base of Mt Taranaki. The region provides surf breaks for surfers of all abilities. The Taranaki region has the greatest concentration of quality surf spots in the North Island. New Plymouth Boys’ High School is located in central New Plymouth overlooking the sea and the well-known surfing and swimming at Fitzroy Beach.
