Student visa and COVID-19 in New Zealand

Unfortunately, the New Zealand borders still remain closed to most international students, however they have now opened up a Trans-Tasman bubble. This allows people from Australia to visit New Zealand without the need to quarantine. It is good to see some progress being made to open up New Zealand to the world again.

Immigration NZ is currently not issuing visas to students outside of New Zealand and have the restriction in place until May 2021. Many students have now decided to postpone their study to 2022.

Please send your applications through for  the second semester of 2021 or the academic year 2022 and we can issue paperwork for you and put you on a waiting list. When we have more confirmation of borders opening we can then progress the applications further. Please know, first come, first served!
