Yoobee College of Design New Zealand offers to start your study online at home

This is an update for you on a wonderful opportunity for students from all High Schools and for students interested in Design, Animation, Software Engineering, Gaming and more. The offer is available to new international students to UP Education (previously known as ACG Education) to commence their study online at home, to be ready for study in New Zealand.

Commencing online and outside of New Zealand does mean Yoobee Colleges can admit students at a younger age.  By the time you arrive into New Zealand to continue your study you must be 18 years of age (there is no exception to this requirement).

The Opportunity for students are as foillows:

Complete Yoobee’s equivalence of foundation; Certificate of Creative Media (Level 4) 

A 20 week course which can be undertaken online outside New Zealand.
Tuition fee NZ$ 3,610. Starts 22nd February 2022 or July 2022

Certificate Entry requirements: IELTS 5.5 with no bands less than 5 (Pearson equivalence also accepted)

Students who complete the Certificate of Creative Media  (Level 4) – are guaranteed a place in a diploma or a degree, no portfolio will be required.     

Yoobee’s Degree Level Study – commence Online 

  1. Bachelor Software Engineering (Level 7) Starts 22nd February 2022 or July 2022 Focus on  Cyber Safety, Cloud Engineering, Game Development, Artificial Intelligence. 
  2. Bachelor of Animation (Level 7) Starts 21st February 2022 or July 2022
  3. Bachelor of Digital Innovation (Level 7) Starts 21st February 2022 
  4. Diploma in Digital Design (Level 5) Starts 8th February 2022 or July 2022

Complete the Level 5 online, the Level 6 in New Zealand and then promote to the Victoria University of Wellington where in a further 18 months you can graduate with a Bachelor of Design.

Degree Level Entry requirements: IELTS 6.0 with no bands less than 6 (Pearson equivalence accepted) 

Academic Entry requirements: Successfully graduated from Certificate of Creative Media  (Level 4) or a Portfolio will also be required.

Complete the first year online and save on living expenses for NZ

Tuition fee NZ$ 21,500 The advertised fee for students who commence direct

NZ$ 17,899 is the special fee for students who have completed the Certificate of Creative Media. The reduction equates to the fee they paid for the Certificate of Creative Media  

Employment in New Zealand

Once study in New Zealand has commenced you can work up to 20 hours per week while in study and 40 hours per week during the holidays – which for many students earning more than NZ$ 20,000 per year

Upon graduation with a Degree, a 3 year Post Study Work Visa is available under New Zealand law only students with a degree can then apply for Permeant Residence
